1. We carried our outboard motor across the
ocean strapped to the mast ladder.

2. Richie is standing on the bench in the aft cabin,
hiding from the sun. He is wearing his safety harness,
so we don't have to worry about him falling overboard!

3. Looking across the aft cabin; open hatch for ventilation.

4. A beautiful sunny day about 200 miles north of Hawaii on the Acrux
sailboat. Looking west (starboard) through the mast stays.

5. Mainsail--not only great for sailing with, but also makes a dandy
shade cloth!

6. Under full sail in the tradewinds just north of Hawaii. Looking
across the main cabin roof at the bottom of the jib.

9. Cotpit area showing the ropes we used to steer by, the propane
locker, the life ring, and the cushions we sat on. Compass is also visible
below the winch handle.

10. Main boom with preventer (going left) and main ropes (going right).

12. Sailing in to Hawaii. Jib and mast ladder in foreground, Oahu in
background.

15. The green slopes of NW Oahu

19. Sand dunes and lighthouse off NW Oahu

20. Mars Base Zero in September

21. Harvesting the wheat with scissors.

22. NE corner of Mars Base Zero (Square E) with Swiss Chard in the
foreground, Cauliflower in the middle and other crops around the edges of
the photo.

23. Potatoes in September, after they had been lightly frosted.
