EXPERIENCE

President, CEO, CFO, Coal and Heat, Inc (2006-present)

Total company creation, including (but not limited to) setup (legally estabilishing the company; opening bank accounts; setting up computer accounts), design (what to sell, who to sell it to), operation (assuring current boilers operate smoothly), managing employees (1 so far), managing payroll, doing accounting (A/P, A/R, balancing bank accounts, doing taxes), all all the 101 other things you need to do to run a small company.

Owner, Ray's Rentals (2003-present)

Ray's Rentals took over from where TANSTAAFL Inc left off, though on a slightly smaller scale with fewer employees and slightly lower gross income. Still responsible for making sure the apartments are cleaned, rented, the rent is paid (or tenant evicted), the bills are paid, taxes, etc.

In 1985 a friend of mine and I formed a company called TANSTAAFL Inc. In the late 1980's I bought him out and have since run it exclusively by myself. As of 1995 it has 3 employees and was grossing around $150,000 annually. By the middle of 1998 it still had 3 employees, but the annual gross was up to $360,000. By mid-2000 the annual gross was nearing $420,000. Running TANSTAAFL Inc. included the following skills:

Supervisor of up to 6 employees

Doing the employee, corporate, and local taxes for the company

Financial and structural evaluation, of proposed properties to purchase.

Board member (yea, it is a small company!)

President and Director of ISECCo

The International Space Exloration and Colonization Company is a small research and development group. I have been president of it since 1988, guiding the nearly 500 members and volunteers toward a successful program developing Closed Ecological Life Support Systems. My various management duties included:

Director (1988-2000; emporary assignment from November to June 2003; elected May 2004; elected May 2006)

In charge of obtaining IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit certification.
